What will I get as a finished product?
Your completed DVD will consist of a main film of around 45-70 minutes, with fully interactive chapter selections as you would expect on a professional DVD. All editing is included in the package.
What are your terms for deposits and refunds?
We ask for a £200 deposit to confirm the booking of your wedding date. If a booking is cancelled, provided we are able to secure another booking for that date, your deposit will be returned less a £35 deduction for administrative costs.
How soon after the wedding will I get my finished DVD?
Editing (post-production) takes many more hours than the actual filming. As this tends to be spread out according to workload, a wedding DVD typically takes around 4-6 weeks to complete.
What geographical areas do you cover?
Based in East Anglia, we are happy to cover a radius of 100 miles from Ipswich. Further distances may involve additional transport costs at 30p per mile plus the cost of typical Travelodge-type overnight accommodation if necessary, discussed and agreed in advance. Weddings abroad can be covered subject to travel and accommodation costs - please enquire for further details.
What if I want additional copies of the finished DVD?
The cost per additional copy is £15.
Will the wedding video DVD work on non-UK DVD players in other countries?
Yes, there are no playback restrictions on our DVDs - they should work on all popular players worldwide. In the event of a problem we are usually able to troubleshoot.
What if I need a VHS tape to give to someone who does not have a DVD player?
We can provide a VHS copy at a cost of £25 per tape.
What about special requests and requirements?
We are delighted to discuss any special requests you may have. If you're dreaming of a particular theme or style for your wedding video, we'll talk through the options with you and discuss what is achievable and any additional costs which would be necessary to make your dream come true. We love a challenge and relish the opportunity to push the boat out creatively. Anything is possible (subject to budget and location) - just ask!
Can I have my choice of music on my wedding video?
The simple answer is almost certainly yes, though it is in almost all cases necessary to pay a licensing fee depending on the type of music, how much recording is involved, and the extent of distribution. Your choice of dubbed music (i.e. added afterwards in our studio) is available and any additional licence fees are passed on at cost - usually from around £35 but it can be as much as £100 or more in some cases for the appropriate licence.
